(Searching for) Radical Care
Frascati and Theater Utrecht join forces around shared values. (Searching for) Radical Care is a collaboration in which care is not a side note, but the point of departure. In a world that is hardening, we create a space for doubt, research, encounter and conversation – and for imagining how things might be otherwise.
During this programme, makers from Theater Utrecht present work in different stages of development. In a range of forms, space opens up for reflection and dialogue. What is the role of the actress in the representation of women? How can food become a home? Who decides how much a woman must suffer? And can someone truly change, even after doing something irreparable?
With contributions and work by, among others, Carolina Bianchi, Casper Vandeputte, Floor Houwink ten Cate, Jaha Koo, Naomi Velissariou, Cherish Menzo, Milou van Duijnhoven and Merel Severs. Many of these makers are no strangers to Frascati: they have previously developed and presented work with Frascati Producties. We’re delighted to welcome them back, together with Theater Utrecht.
