The Polish Project is a thought-provoking performance that explores the experiences of Polish migrant workers and the mix of physical and artistic labour.

Directed by Polish artist Maria Magdalena Kozłowska, this production combines opera, choreography and documentary elements for an in-depth exploration of identity and work culture.

In our lives, where work often takes centre stage, The Polish Project highlights the reality of people whose lives revolve around labour. Despite increasing conversations about work-life balance and the need for change, many migrant workers remain stuck in the daily grind. With more than 220,000 Polish migrants in the Netherlands, their stories often remain invisible to the rest of society. Through Kozłowska's artistic lens, you will be challenged to rethink your perception of labour and productivity. Discover the hidden stories of migrant workers and the complexities of contemporary labour.

The Polish Project part 2 will follow in 2025.
