Privacy & cookies

Waarom en op welke manier verwerken wij persoonsgegevens?

Frascati complies with Dutch and European privacy legislation and regulations. If your personal data is processed by Frascati, you can rest assured that we will treat this with care. Our privacy statement sets out how we do this. We make every effort to ensure that our customers’ privacy is protected, including through measures in the areas of information security, data minimalization, transparency and user control. This means that only the minimum of personal data that is essential for the purpose specified in advance is processed, and that this is retained for no longer than necessary. In the case of cooperation with external parties that requires personal data to be processed, we enter into agreements concerning the requirements governing the exchange of such data.

What personal data on me does Frascati use and for what purposes?

If you buy a ticket online, we will ask you for a once-only registration. We will save the personal data you fill in at this stage. We do this so we can contact you (for example, if there is a change to the programming that is specifically relevant to you), to be able to carry out research and to provide you with a personalised service. We will record the following data for these purposes: name and address, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail address and IP address. You can then log in using your e-mail address and password next time you visit our website. All customer, ordering and payment data is transmitted using SSL encryption.

Blocking or ‘forgetting’

If you would like to block use of your personal data outside of the registration with Frascati that is essential in relation to the nature of its services, send an e-mail to info@frascatitheater.nl. If you would like to be completely ‘forgotten’ – which means that your online log-in account and purchasing history will be completely deleted – you should contact us using the same e-mail address.

Newsletters, service e-mails and direct mailings

When, for example, you purchase tickets online, an ‘opt-in’ will be offered to sign up to receive by e-mail Frascati’s weekly newsletter containing information on Frascati productions. If you choose not to take up this ‘opt-in’ offer, Frascati will only send you e-mails concerning events for which you have bought tickets. These are the ‘service mails’, containing for example changes to starting times or locations, cancellations, etc. You can also choose to receive occasional direct mailings detailing productions suggested for you on the basis of your history of visiting our theatre.

Alongside the weekly newsletter, we send out regular (approximately quarterly) Dance and Performance mailings (in English). You can sign up for these. Here, you will also find the opportunity to sign up for the weekly newsletter, without having to create an account to buy a ticket.

At the bottom of every e-mail from Frascati there is an unsubscribe link that allows you to make sure direct mailings are no longer sent to that e-mail address. You can choose whether to unsubscribe from the weekly newsletter or the direct mailings. If this doesn’t work, you can send an e-mail to eflyer@frascatitheater.nl and we’ll remove your address from the database.
