A sensorial journey towards perceiving (dance) beyond sight.

Cri(s)p is a multisensory dance performance accessible to people with and without visual impairments. A sensory journey that explores how dance can be experienced beyond the visual.

The performance immerses the audience in a stimulating universe, somewhere between urbanity and nature, where all senses are addressed equally. Bodily experience and rational knowledge intertwine, while intimacy, imagination and curiosity open new forms of understanding.

An exploration of sensory perception, language and interpretation; of what we (think we) see and understand, and how meaning can become a bodily experience (again).

“I dreamt of being tender and brittle,
hard enough to be broken easily.
And as I cracked open, I could see
suddenly, very clearly,
through the tips of my fingers.
And as I observed the world around me carefully,
I could feel it saw me too.”
