When the world today, with all its logic and rationality, has become impossible to make sense of, we might as well surrender to the imagination. Midwintercircus: entirely new and better than ever.

Hold on tight. Strange apparitions and horror scenes splattered with tomato sauce cast shadows across the moon. It must be night. A macabre spectacle is about to begin. A show that, without stretching the truth too far, might resemble the images flashing through your mind in the final five seconds before you find yourself caught in an elusive fever dream. The performers are dead, dying or perhaps long gone. Yet they leave their mark on contemporary circus, etched into the minds of the living.

Welcome to Midwintercircus, where Frascati transforms into a circus filled with extraordinary acts that continue late into the night. Presented in collaboration with My!Laika, Deadwood and others.

  • Premiere: Thu 17 Dec
  • Language no problem
