We’ve banished enchantment from the world. Murdered God. And now we’re stuck here like a lonely child yearning for wonder, being punished with logic by the adults.

In God kom(t) terug, Hajar Fargan delves into what we have lost in our headlong race towards ‘civilization’. From religion and ritual to fakery and fortune-tellers. Are we really as rational as we think? Or is our megalomania just that – a delusion?

The world strives to run riot, to grow, to reinvent itself. We’ve reached the point where we’re done with flaming pitchforks and the rational science that got rid of them. But what if we’re yearning for what we’ve done away with?

Following Meet the Method and Diary of a movement, Hajar presents her third solo: a text-based and auditory manifesto against the 'disenchantment' of the world. An exploration of magical thinking and an act of resistance against a flat reality.
