These shows are playing at Frascati during Julidans 2026

Julidans 2026 is here. Choreographers from around the world travel to Amsterdam to show their work here. Who are we, and what moves us? Come to Frascati to find out.

This year, under the banner Straight from the heart, Julidans brings 26 productions to 9 venues across the city. Frascati is one of them, with a varied lineup to explore.  

Among the highlights is our own Frascati maker Melyn Chow, performing becoming god. This work has earned her a nomination for the VSCD Mime/Performance Award 2026. Expect a personal and compelling show in which Melyn takes you along on her search for what was once forbidden.

Shiraz draws inspiration from a festival in southern Iran celebrating the love of dance. Six dancers build a hypnotic choreography that starts quietly and never stops pushing.

For a playful duet, head to RI TE. In this performance, a flamenco dancer and a performer known for her radical, theatrical physicality share the stage together.

Language of the Birds is about listening and connection, even as the world fractures around you. And if you've ever wondered what language looks like when it becomes movement, Mercury Rising has your answer.
