A poetic journey through memory, displacement, and what remains within the body.
Tue 3 Nov ’26
and
Wed 4 Nov ’26

The dance-theatre performance Raízes investigates the body as a territory of memory. Inspired by experiences of migration, ancestry, and displacement, the work moves through fragments of remembrance, spirituality, and Brazilian cultural heritage in dialogue with the European present.

Having lived in the Netherlands for more than 11 years, Brazilian artist Fernando Oliveira transforms the stage into a space of sensory listening, where gesture, sound, and presence reveal invisible marks carried by the body.

Between ritual, contemporary dance, and sonic landscapes, Raízes proposes a poetic journey through everything that remains alive within us, even after distance and transformation.
