December is rolling around! Guess who is coming to town?

The Goldfish Bleeding in a Sea of Sharks - Christmas Special Edition at Frascati! Wow!

The Goldfish Bleeding in a Sea of Sharks is a long-term art project that has multiple actions such as performance pieces (no evening is ever the same), panel series coordinated by activist Chihiro Geuzenbroek, workshops, a publication, a research trip to Bolivia to study with the anarcho-feminist movement Mujeres Creando, BIXARIA – Queer Brazilian Club Night and more! There are already around 30 artists involved. It is coordinated by the badass Cuir, Roma and Decolonial director (ufff) Thais Di Marco, who intends with this project to generate social mobilization around the life and the livelihood of artists while living into a radical neoliberal cultural politics.

The actions of the project reflect on the impact of the art system in the social role of the arts for the permanence of all the people (s) and the planet Earth, confronting risks such as cultural homogenization, tokenism, exploitation, cosmological domination, precarization, emptying, washing and whitening. The motto of the piece is Lucha Libre, a Latin American form of wrestling where social characters enact current conflicts, opening up windows for grief, anger and dreams for the future.

The fantastic wrestling club of artists and activists trying to save the planet with the best business model of the art world, confronting visa issues, tokenism, gatekeeping, heteronormative cis-tem, etc.,, is landing in Amsterdam to serve you with a special Christmas edition.

We are thrilled to announce that our superhero Saint Nikloaca is arriving from Ibiza after a whole summer of psy-trance and spiritual awakening to apologize for his past wrongdoing finally; exploiting collaborators and convincing young entrepreneurs to open a Stichting. He also has a new proposal for the future…

Let’s see if Saint Nikloaca will accomplish his mission or if a special surprise opponent is ready to tell him what no one is brave enough to say!

The evening starts with Mc Delivery, our super side jobber hero against Shiela, in a classical duet and finishes with a spoken word act by Guiné-Bissau artist and activist Sofia Lobo. And, of course, Jack Sparrow Hug will be hosting you through the whole evening directly from the Dam Square to the High Arts World!

Dj SUKUBRATZ will envelope the evening with Denbow, Reggaeton and Brazilian Funk.  Come and bl33d with us!
