Fariborz Karimi

Fariborz Karimi (Tehran, 1990) is a theater maker living in Amsterdam. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Directing and Acting from Tehran University in 2013, and graduated from the master’s degree in DAS Theater in 2023. With his artistic practice, Fariborz asks socio-political questions through autobiographical and fictional stories, blurring the line between dream and reality.
His last projects have been supported by HELLERAU( Germany), Kunstencentrum BUDA, WorkspaceBrussels , wpZimmer and Theater Rotterdam (Welcome to our guesthouse, NL).
