Astrid Rozemarijn Klein Haneveld

Astrid Rozemarijn Klein Haneveld (1997, the Netherlands) is a dancer/dance maker and dramaturg. She graduated from the Dance Academy at Fontys School of Fine and Performing Arts in 2019 and completed the Master of Arts in Contemporary Theatre, Dance and Dramaturgy in 2022. Her work focuses on the poetic and physical translation of emotion, memory, and personal experience, engaging with themes such as grief and loneliness.
In 2024, she created and performed PUINHOOP together with Ischa Statie at the Café Theater Festival. In 2024 and 2025, she developed and performed her solo work The Impossible Astronaut at Productiehuis Nowhere, Delft Fringe Festival, Amsterdam Fringe Festival, and within the Under Construction programme of Frascati Producties.
Alongside her stage practice, Astrid is active in the theatre field as a teacher and programmer. She has a deep fascination with monstrous women and feminism in theatre, is engaged with issues of social safety, and contributes to the future of the performing arts sector as a board member of Ensemble Nieuwe Theaterwerkers.
