This double bill brings together two intimate, searching performances that each, in their own way, depart from what is difficult to put into words. A VAST OCEAN by Neslihan Kaymak and I will not, I cannot, I dont want to, I can not know by Ragna Moen form an encounter with vulnerability, doubt, and connection.

A VAST OCEAN - Neslihan Kaymak

For the mothers whose eyes hold what cannot be spoken- like invisible gates opening to a mountain of grief. If something sings far away and you feel it inside you, this performance begins there.

I will not, I cannot, I dont want to, I can not know - Ragna Moen

What to do now. Now that we know things must change. What to do now, now that the body is visible. What to do, with a longing for change.

Maker Ragna Moen attempts to frame her trans identity alongside the transitions of the world. Questioning how safe she will be. What the right choice is. Who she wants to take into account. What she herself wants.

It is difficult not to know what we have to do. What we want and what we must. What the right choice is. In this performance, she tries to stretch that space. For herself, but also with the audience. Searching together for tactics, to deal with the last one we carry.

Film installation Are We Feminist Enough?

The video installation Are We Feminist Enough? by Neslihan Kaymak is continuously on view in the space beneath the café of Frascati 4.

This film installation is part of Neslihan’s project on feminism, womanhood, and motherhood. It is a first exploration developed through close collaboration with her mother and grandmother, drawing on oral history and personal living archives as its source material. Through image, voice, and presence, she traces how memory, experience, and inherited knowledge move across generations. Shaping what is carried forward, what is interrupted, and what continues to live within the body.
