Help Frascati break through!
Vanaf 9 maart crowdfunden we om theater en restaurant écht één te maken
The place where theater, delicious (affordable) food, and talent come together.
Frascati is expanding! The unique theater and production house for new talent is getting its own restaurant in the city center, with an affordable and nutritious menu. Will you help us break down the wall between the theater and the restaurant? And finish the interior? Now is the time to reunite the building. And make Frascati the cultural hotspot of the city center.
A long-cherished wish
Frascati is known for its bold programming, outspoken makers, intimate black box theatres, and the cosy café tucked away in the alley. A welcoming place, but simply too small. That is about to change. For a long time, we have wanted to create more space for people to meet — a place where makers and audiences naturally come together. A place where you can sit down for a nourishing, affordable meal in the heart of our city.
With the building next door, we finally had the opportunity to make that wish a reality. There we opened Frascati Restaurant. It is currently in a try-out phase, but will soon become a natural extension of the theatre. A cultural living room for the city, where experimentation and hospitality go hand in hand. Because now it’s possible: affordable food and art in one central place.
The breakthrough
To complete the expansion, we need your help. We want to break through the wall between the restaurant and the theater. This intervention will connect the spaces physically and emotionally, restoring the cadastral building to its original unity.
We will then transform the cashier area into an exhibition, film, and lounge space. More space for our beloved visitors. To read, talk, and relax. To feel that Frascati is also yours; your cultural living room on the Nes. To realize this, we want to raise €40.000. With that amount, we can break through the wall and complete the expansion of Frascati.
After the summer of 2026, we will officially open the restaurant at Nes 59.
Will you help us break down the wall?
