In OP DREEF, we see two figures drifting desolately on an ice floe. Around them, an ocean churns, wild, turbulent, and nauseating if you float on it too long without any sense of direction. It is boundless, and therefore also endlessly free and unclear.

During their journey, they come into contact with all kinds of objects washing up onto the floe. They try to imitate the world through these objects, but by continuously assigning them new functions, they create their own reality.

In this way, they end up in absurd situations: mistaking the sound of the coast guard for mythical sirens, pulling a wave over themselves like a duvet, and being lulled to sleep by a stranded saw.

The floe becomes a playground where imagination prevails, but at the same time a mirror that exposes the painful points of two forgotten people.
