Pere Faura

Pere Faura (1980) studeerde in 2006 af aan de SNDO in Amsterdam met this is a picture of a person I don’t know. In 2009 ontving hij de Charlotte Kohler Prijs. In 2011 studeerde hij af aan de Amsterdamse Master of Choreography en keerde hij terug naar Barcelona waar hij nieuwe shows blijft produceren met de medewerking van verschillende creatieve centra in de stad. Zijn werk is regelmatig ook in Nederland te zien en wordt gekenmerkt door de toe-eigening van elementen uit de popcultuur.
