From Wednesday 10 to Saturday 13 April, the Nes is all about GRIP, the choreographic platform around Jan Martens. During this four-day event, both Frascati and De Brakke Grond show work by Martens and the three other GRIP choreographers Bára Sigfúsdóttir, Steven Michel and Michele Rizzo. Jan Martens will present three performances: Passing the Bechdel Test (with fABULEUS), BIS (with Truus Bronkhorst) and Ode to the Attempt. Bára Sigfúsdóttir brings Western and Arab cultures together in Being. The French choreographer and dancer Steven Michel presents Affordable Solution for Better Living (with visual artist Théo Mercier) and the solo They might be giants. Michele Rizzo brings his performance Higher, about dance in the club scene.
N.B. All shows can be combined.
